Toshiba 42PW23P ,42WH36P or Sony KP44DX2

Thinking of buying one of the above, mainly for SKY+ viewing, but also playing dvds (mainly region 1) and playing XBOX. Im not bothered about the sound because I have a dolby setup already.

the 42pw23p seems good because it is cheap. do I really need 100HZ?

If I do then which is better out of the 42wh36p and kp44dx2?

Bear in mind that (out of the three you mention) the Tosh 42WH36 supports progressive scan - if you have a progressive scan DVD player, that will give you a much-improved DVD picture.
