How much does a used 28/32" CRT cost these days?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get a second hand 28/32" widescreen CRT to replace a recently fallen 2002 model. Since all the major electronics stores are now selling shiny LCDs and Plasmas, I have absolutely no idea what the going rate for a decent used CRT is these days and I don't want to be ripped off!

Does anyone know what price range I should be expecting?

Cheers!

Here's a 32" Tosh that never sold for £75;

Seems they're pennies these days.

If you are buying my Tosh 36 inch WS, 1000 quid, if you are buying some one elses, next to nothing.
We still have 68 cm Tubes being sold here in oz for, get this, 100 quid brand new...
No one wants these Tubes no more as the size puts people off, what people don't realise is, that Tubes give some of the best PQ available, even still for today..
Buyers market...

You can pick up CRT TV for free from you local Freegle / Freecycle. People are getting flat screen TV's so it's easier to get someone else to take the old TV away than take it to the tip

Thanks for all of your replies. I'm sure I'll be back up and running with a glorious CRT picture by the end of next week now.
