Panasonic tx28dtx1

Since retuning freeview after the changes to channel 5 etc.
BBC1 BBC2 BBC news etc. all transmitted on CH59 from bluebell hill have disappeared. i have tried auto tune and restore to shipping conditions to no avail. there is no manual tune option on this set for DVB only for analogue which is OK.
can anybody help please , i have e mailed panasonic twice with no response from them.

Re: Panasonic tx28dtx1

I believe you need a firmware update Mike. I have had to do a few of these at work, if you ring up Panasonic and ask them they should send you out the CAM module you need with the software on it.

Its an easy process to do and should only take a few minuites once you have recived the CAM.

Hope this helps Luke

Re: Panasonic tx28dtx1

Hi Mike,

I’ve just spoken to another engineer at work and he confirmed that it is a software issue and it needs updating. Then everything should come back.

Luke
