28" or 32"

ok, my choice has settled on the Philips P+ model now (i know, i know....)

however, my new dilemma is over 28" or 32". I currently have a 28" screen and this seems fine, I sit approximately 6-7 feet away from the screen.

What do you think? will 32" be too big for the viewing distance? or would I benefit from the extra size?

any info or opinions would be useful.

cheers,

Manny

I sit about the same distance as you and have no problems with my 32".

If I'd have had the room, i'd probably have got a 36" and would have watched from the same distance.

The bigger the better !

32 Inch quality set no question but from personal experiance I would get a 100hz if you are so close to it as the closer you get to a tv the more apparent (to me) that the flickering is.

Also quality because you are so close to it. The further away from it you are the more forgiving a less decent picture is.

If you cannot afford a 32 inch quality set then I would go for 28 inch.
