tv keeps switching from 16:9 to 4:3? (sky/sony)

hi , i hope someone can help me
i have a sony triniton tv silver widescreen kv-28 ?

recently i have had a problem with the sky + box (amstrad?)
basically it keeps switching from 16:9 to 4:3 aspect ratios when changing channels?

anyone have similar problems ? or know how to solve this?

Are you saying this happens regardless of the channel? Obviously a lot of channels are still 4:3 so I would expect the TV to respond to that.

it was the tv and the settings has now been changed back
all is good again
