I have been really tempted to get a new 24" imac but want a tv function...Does anybody know if it has such a thing?

My other choice is the HP touchsmart as want to mount either of them on the wall.

You can get EyeTV tuners which connect via USB. They're the same as Hauppauge's sticks, but you're better off buying them as EyeTV branded so that you get their software.

As above, Elgato EyeTV is the thing to get, great software, has a 'Front Row esque' user interface if you want it... pretty cheap too!

It's slightly cheaper at Apple themselves but you don't get free shipping there!

I have its predecessor and love it still, bear in mind the included antenna is utter dross though, you need mega strong signal to get it to work... best off with a roof top one!
