Mate..
what is water
conductive
what is your PC
A whole load of circuits
What happens when you put water accross a circuit
it shorts
what happens when you put a PC across water
it goes ti*s up
It would have worked if you used non conductive liquids, i belive LN2 (liquid Nitrogen) isnt conductive, but at -180c, dont put your hand in it!

If you'll note, this is how watercooling is supposed to be done
a large heatsink on the CPU, which water passes THROUGH to cool the CPU. the heated water then goes to a radiator to cool down and sits in the resivoir waiting to be pumped back through the circle...
easy.

Can't people just quote the initial post on their respective fora and be done ? The denials thereafter only serve to cast doubt anyway. No need to be here, our lil' server is struggling.
Mike.

OK mod in the house I'm deleting the abusive posts, no need to be nasty. We all make mistakes, when I was 6 I tried to recharge a battery by wiring it into the mains. :D

Comer
what happened to the other PC? ( The PIII )
Dan
PS - yep, this thread is the reason for my first post <blush> :-)
PSS- ..and.. make sure you have DMA enabled on your hard drive (for your HCPC) and DVD.. ( that eliminated all of my skipping problems playing dvds .... in regard to your post about dvd skipping)

Sharing an internet connection
Is it possible to share an internet connection on a
peer to peer network using one internal 56K modem. I
have two pcs at home, one with a modem one without. Is
it possible to access the internet, send and receive
emails on the pc without the modem if both pcs are
networked.
This is something that I've always wondered about. If
you are falling about the place at the stupidity of
this question, please be kind break it to me gently.

Hmmm... considering the cpu/mb/mem combo you used..... I'd have to say this is ALOT of posting traffic over an insignificant loss.
It's kind of like getting upset that you just totalled your Yugo (even if you had some really expensive RIMMS.....er, rims put on it).

Sorry guys time to close this thread, I personally think this IS a wind up, but it still doesn't entitle people to post abusive comments.
