Wiring master NTE5 and slave socket
I have a BT NTE5 master socket with the following wires connected : Green with White point 3, White with Green point 4, Orange with White point 2 and White with Orange point 5 and a standard extension socket with the following wires connected : Green point 3, White point 5, Orange point 2 and Black point 4. Does this sound right? I have a Vigor Draytek 2800G router which works fine in the TEST socket but when plugged in to the front plate of the NTE5 socket i receive an intermittant DSL signal. I also have Sky HD in the main socket and normal Sky in the extension socket - when either SKY is plugged in i also receive an intermittant DSL signal. I have filters on both sockets. Can anybody suggest any way that i can have my cordless telephone and Sky HD plugged into the main NTE5 socket and have the router and Sky plugged into the extension socket without losing the DSL signal?
Sorry if this is long winded but it is my first thread and wanted to cover all the problems!!
