Please remember you are dealing with a pre-beta not a beta or a store bought o/s!
plus the fact that the removal tool is basically a hack.

I'm quite aware that it's a pre-beta - but if it can't be stable on existing windows vista 32 bit drivers then it's got a long way to go - it does look amazing, and people are going to have to buy it purely because XP will be end of life when it arrives, so MS will be onto a winner whatever happens!!!

I am using x64 and it is stable, at the moment I am using it as my main o/s. So if yours isn't stable then there is something wrong with your set up.....

On a different 32 bit os, the wireless card in this laptop worked fine - on windows 7, using the same driver, it drops out (it's not the signal strength, trust me on this one!)

Maybe you need to update the driver manually?

What does this actually do? Done it about it about a week ago and haven't seen any changes...

You must have done it wrong then, either that or you haven't looked at the taskbar since you did it!!!

I've had similar problems on Vista. Try disabling the power management settings within the wireless device.
