Hi all,

I have downloaded Nero 11 trial version and find it very good but i was wondering if there is any free programs that are similar/better or how i might get another version of nero, whether it be a older version for free or reduced price.

Dont get me wrong im not talking about doing anything illegal here, just wondering what my options are.

What do you need the program for? Just burning CDs, DVDs and stuff?

Here's a free option that may do what you need: -

CDBurnerXP: Free CD and DVD burning software

Don't be put off by the name as it doesn't just work on XP and it doesn't just burn CDs.

ImgBurn does a good job and it's free.

It does a good job for files and disk images, but it doesn't have audio/video disk capability.

Freemake can deal with DVD-video creation.
Just be sure to NOT install the toolbar etc when offered.
