Windows 7 hdmi output

hi all

I have a Advent t9102 with a ASUS ATi Radeon HD3450 HDMI Slimline Graphics Card with 1GB HyperMemory. I am running windows 7

I cant seem to get a hdmi output from my graphics card. i have tried reinstalling the driver and it still wont work.

i am using on-board sound does that matter?

I can get output from the vga and dvi ports.

thanks for your help

Zac

Re: Windows 7 hdmi output

Do you have the correct driver for your onboard sound? I have an Acer 5920g with HDMI output. I have an Nvidia graphics card and onboard sound but my onboard sound uses the latest Realtek HD driver.

Re: Windows 7 hdmi output

Ah, I just remembered what I do with my sound. I have an extension that I plug into my headphone socket and into my surround sound set up......

That is the way mine works as I do not have sound on my TV itself it all goes through a Yamaha AV Receiver.

Re: Windows 7 hdmi output

It sounds as if your card might have a damaged HDMI output.
