Hi all,

I'm looking for a new Gaming headset, as my old one has died!

I am looking for something that sounds and looks good, at a respectable price, (£60-£130) and was wondering if i could get some feedback on the following:

Razer Carchiaras:

Razer Megaladon 7.1 (Does the 7.1 make the sound quality alot better?)

Steelseries Diablo III Headset: (£79.99 in store)
SteelSeries - SteelSeries Diablo® III Headset

So out of these 4 Headsets what one has the better performance specs, they all look pretty similar to me but I'm not sure what Input Power does for the sound?

If anyone has any other suggestions also, that look great and sound good, I'd appreciate it!

After going through the same thing four times in five years I gave up on gaming headsets entirely and just bought myself a proper set of hi-fi headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-AD700), which are much better built, and a seperate microphone.

As for surround sound headsets, more speakers means smaller and cheaper individual speakers, which generally results in equal or worse sound quality so if that's a priority I'd consider it a downside.
