Laser vs. Inkjet

Hi guys, anyone got any current advice on buying a laser vs. an inkjet - usual gripe, cost of ink, but my Epson SX600 has just packed up so i'm wondering what's best.

I mainly print BW but some colour.

Anyone found a good clone ink that an Epson won't object to?

I'll leave the inkjet v laser argument to someone else but must say I have no problems with Jet Tec compatible ink cartridges, albeit for my Canon printer but, if you do a search on the forums, you'll see others also recommending them for Epson printers.
