Hello,

I am very likely about to purchase myself a 'My Passport Essential SE 1TB' hard drive. I need it to store a lot of videos so I can plug it onto my USB port on my 50" TV. If there is a better drive out there for roughly same price with more capacity, you're welcome to suggest them my way. I need one with no power cable though for portability use. Which leads me to my main question:

Can I use that hard drive with my TV? Will the TV be able to provide enough power for it to run? Pen drives work fine with the TV.
