LG W2600H - Any opinions?

Hi

Has anyone used or seen the W2600H? It come is the older PF and the newer BF guises.

The PF is availale for only £319, which seems great for a 26" S-IPS screen. The BF is almost twice the price! The BF seems to have more inputs including HDMI, and the brighness is 400cd/m2 rather than 300cd/m2 of the PF.

Can anyone tell me if other than more inpus and the brightness, are the panels the same? Are they good?

Is the 5000:1 contrast dynamic stye contrast, or "true" contrast? How does the contrast look?

I want a screen for multi purpose use, but the importance is video editing, music production and HD movie watching. I don't play games and I will probably not use it for much internet or general "word" use etc. I will dosome phot editing as well.

It's a shame the PF doesn't have 2 DVI's or 1 DVI & 1 HDMI, but if it's a great screen, for £319, it has to be a steal.

Thanks for any help.

One other thing, does it allow 1:1 pixel mapping for Blue Ray etc?

One site says the PF has an S-IPS panel and another says a TN. Can anyone shed some light?

There is also a new W2600 (no H) that seems cheap (ish). Just to make things more confusing.
