pc to samsung 26ler74bd - no sound!

went and bought samsung lcd to replace 19" monitor i had connected to pc and 360. difference is amazing! wife not happy though.
anyway, all works great apart from not getting sound from pc. i have phono cables coming from the pc (2 jacks into 1 plug on the pc) and i've tried all the available phono plugs on the back of the samsung but no joy.
anyone help please!

How have you connected the video to the Samsung if via VGA (15pin) then you will be looking for the PC input on the TV which is 3.5mm stereo jack. The normal cable to connect a PC to a TV is 3.5 to 3.5. Never seen phono plugs on a PC. This is the type of cable normally used http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/35mm2.html
