Media Server case big enough for 10-15 HDDs?

I'm about to build a media server to rip and store my entire blu-ray collection of about 400 movies.

I presently have a N36L server with 5x2TB drives and the same amount again in my main PC, as backup.

I now want to whack them all into a new server and do away with the N36L, because it is too slow when trying to convert my movies collection on the fly (particularly with Air Video). It is buffer-central!

I'm looking at the Antec 1200v3, but it's a very old case. Is there anything new out there that will allow me to comfortably fit 10-15 HDDs, with a bit left over for future expansion?

Otherwise, Antec 1200 it is!

biggest cases I know of take 10 drives - eg. Fractal Design XL and some Coolermasters

another option would be to convert the 5.25" bays into 3.5"
I added 4 hdd's that way using a fanned 3 bay converter & 4port sata raid card

a similar solution should give you room for 14drives internally (assuming you have enough sata data & power ports as well)

+ more if you mod manually or use external as well

I like the look of that Fractal Design XL. Not that it really matters, because it will be in my AV cupboard, under the stairs so will never been seen.

I like that it holds 10HDDs without the need for any IcyBoxes.

What raid card do you use in your setup?

but most of my drives are not raided (hardware)
only the stuff I cant lose (personal data etc)
