600T Upgrades/Mods Advice

Looking to upgrade my 600T for better performance but not quite sure what my options are.

What basic/easy mods can be done to my case to improve the airflow and overall appearance.

My specs

2700k
16gb vengeance blue
Asus p8z68 pro
Ax850
H100 (pull)
Xfx 6970 (red) clashes with the blue theme but was a cheap card!

Only things I am thinking of doing are 2 slim 120mm fans to setup a push pull config on the H100 and replace the window with the mesh and try fit the spare 200mm white led fan (removed for h100) or 4 x 120mm fans to cool the gpu & board.

Any examples of people's work or suggestions would be a great help.

I have seen full window side panels for this case; any idea on where I can get 1 of these as only seen US expensive suppliers.

Thanks

We're you supplied with the mesh for the side panel or do you have to buy it? If you already have it. I'd stick the 200mm fan on it. Or buy one without LEDs if you don't like it and use that to cool the GPU and motherboard. The 200mm fans normally work well and are quiet. Leave the H100 in pull and have the 200mm fan as an intake as well. That way you'll have a positive air pressure in the case and dust won't build up in it. Also remember to clean the filter above the H100 in the roof. Intake fans draw in a lot of dust so keeping that clean will also keep temps lower over time.

Yes, supplied with window & mesh. Can't fit the 200mm fan in the mesh don't think, only allows the 4 x 120mm fans. Going to give everything a clean today and remove all the dust and will repeat regular.

So 2 slim fans pushing on the h100 won't add any benefit?

Is it good to remove the middle hdd cage for better airflow and fit it next to the PSU.

I have just fitted the 200mm led fan to side mesh on my case. Made a few changes to the internals.

I used to have the 2 x 120mm rad fans connected to the case fan controller but saw a post about its better to plug them into the CPU block for better perfomance. I disagree and seems the fan speed/noise levels are much better when using the fan controller so I may switch them back.

I have ordered 2 x slim 120mm fans to hopefully squeeze underneath my radiator for a push pull h100.

My greatest mod of all... black marker and coloured in my 6970 red pipes :D It was annoying me so much clashing with the blue chipset on my board. Read about changing the heatsink/fan or covering it in carbon vinyl but a perm marker was so much easier and retains warranty.

Hoping to stick another 6970 in there, the slim fans, killer lan card & ram cooler. Think it will look rather nice then but any other suggestions/tweaks will be apreciated

All's ok. Wouldn't have bothered with the slim 120mm fans for push pull. There are only a couple of degrees in the temps and the noise from adding the extra fans might not be worth it. But let me know what you find it to be like after you get them installed. Sorry for the slow reply, I'm travelling in Australia and don't always get phone signal.

Cold cathode lights are a good and easy mod that looks great if put in the right places. Behind mesh perhaps.
