I have an Acer Aspire One Netbook for sale, this was originally bought for light photo editing outside the house. However after upgrading it to vista and Xp pro I noticed the screen being the main issue. I usually shoot in raw 10mp so scrolling was no end with this machine. Aswell as paying full price for the unit I also bought comet's extended warranty for two years.

The netbook has been upgraded to their full potential and here are the spec;

1.6ghz Intel Atom Processor
1.5gb DDR II SDRAM
320gb 5,400 RPM hdd (Fujitsu) (original 120gb included)
Wireless Enabled 802.11 B/G
External 8 x DVD-RW drive (Pioneer slot loader)

I spent £350 on the acer which are all receipted, with £60 hard drive, £50 DVD-RW drive and £17 for ram upgrade. Totally £450 +

Thank you for the kind start Flimber but 200 is a tad bit low!

Mrpink123; It comes preloaded with Xp Professional. However this package already comes with a DVD-RW drive therefore you can put anything on it.


Remember this auction comes with two hard drives, 120gb original the upgraded 320gb.

Would the upgrades not void the warranty?

Lewie: Well according to a recent accident with my cousins netbook he sent it back modified (forgetting that he has upgraded parts) they didn't seem to care. It came back fixed with the right upgraded specifications.

I've seen this acer go for £160 in another thread with no accessories and barely any upgrade.. with no extra warranty, DVD-RW drive, 320GB HDD upgrade, 1GB ram upgrade (1.5gb total).


Reason for this unit being refurbished is because I have opened the box, and paid to have people from easy2pc (kettering) in upgrading it.

However I am lowering the price down to £275 including all the accessories!.. This is a major bargain and I know these units will fetch over £300 due to it's upgrades.

No the copy's of XP and Vista have no licenses, I admit these were burnt for me and never need registering (microsoft employee release only).

I have been running the same XP Pro on my macbook for seven months.

Sorry I am not able to send it out. As we have equal feedback, I recommend me putting this on ebay, and you buy it through my listing (written binding contract). Then depending on your ebay feedback I will post before payment (bank transfer expected), or post after (paypal).

Alternatively I have a student rail therefore I can travel to you, if you are willing to do a bit of travel.

I was merely stating that using ebay is a form of a written contract, and I was intending to put the same buy it now as it is here so that Dbcoup can buy it off me.

Using ebay is PURELY for protection on both ends. I didn't mean to use avforums to boost my sales, that was NOT my intentions.
