needless to say the shelves were bare, and this was the recently extended Surrey Quays Tesco we're talking about.

Both types of rewriteable media were down to £4.97 for 10 in the same promotion - no plastic box, you'd have to have your own wallet ready for them but if you've had the odd one or two die on you, it's a good replacement deal. Picked up 10 to test-burn my VHS transfers until I'm happy with the picture, will save me loads of money in the long run.

If you wanted a cake of 25 DVD-RWs they left that price up at £11.97 and even though they've started to sell boxed Dual Layer Media there was no price tag on the shelf to show how much it was for the box of 10 I saw. If I make another Tesco visit I'll try to find out the price - as that would be easier and quicker than SVP for me.

Didn't check how long the deal lasted but if you don't favour Tesco DVDs for DVD Recording then maybe they'll be good for your PC.
