Am trying to decide on a monitor. My computer is: hp presario 64, nvidia GeForce 6150LE. Have 17" at moment, thought would like - 20". Don't use computer for games, - just browsing, processing, e-mails. Though option of videos, tv in future would be nice.
Have seen an - AOC in local shop for 119Euro. Don't know what they are like!!
Hear that - ASUs, or benQ are best. maybe the better quality 19" would be also best way to go.
Any Suggestions, recommendations would be really appreciate.

What's the model number of that €119 AOC? And does it come with a standard 3-year replacement warranty?

I purchased a nondescript 19" Hanns.G 3 years ago & never regretted it. Still going strong with no bad pixels or faults of any kind. I would happily buy another, including Dell, Samsung, NEC, Asus, HP, BenQ, LG, Iiyama, Viewsonic, AG Neovo, Philips, Fujitsu, Hyundai, Acer, etc.

Hi Crossbow, am here in Ireland, and the prices are of course MAD!!!!
The AOC is called 20" N20WB. Costing Euro 119.99, at Dixons. Shop is just 300yds from me. Am also looking at the ASUS - VW223B, Pixmania - down from Eur 244 to Eur 139.
All I need it is for usual - web, e-mails, not for games. So would like something that is functional, good to operate, and with a fairly good quality for pics and so on. But not for games. Also no need for speakers. Fed through hi-fi. I think the AOC is 800:1 ratio.
If you could point me in right direction many thanks.

That 22" Asus sure looks a winner to me , but out of stock atm.

Found this too: ACER X233Hbd 23" that's within you budget, but I'd still opt for the Asus.

Thanks a "mill" Crossbow. Will likely go for it. As it's only a bit more than the AOC. So will see if available. Though it now seems that Pixmania are charging an incredible Euro31+ for shipping. Will check the Dixons shop too, are supposed to be same company.
