Apple Mac student discount

My home iMac recently expired so I've been looking into new options. On talking to my sister, she said as a university student she gets a discount.
Sure enough, saved me £100, plus i got a free iPod touch (via cash back claim). Laptops get nearer £200 off depending on model.
And they were fine about her using my credit card to pay and delivering to my address.

Re: Apple Mac student discount

I have not looked at it all in a while but it all used to be abit confusing as there used to be 2 different edu stores... one you could reach from anywhere and another one from you uni campus/network.. they both gave you discount.. but if you went on the edu store at uni would would get bigger savings and you were also be able to get 3 years applecare for free (which used to be £150 ish).

As well as getting the rebate on the ipod touch.. I think you can also get a rebate on a printer as well.

All taken into account.. it makes it a pretty good deal for a student specially if you order from your uni network
