That's from Cdiscount via quidco using newbie10 code and paying with barclaycard 1% cashback credit card.

Arrived today (3 working days) and it seems a nice bit of kit. Needed formatting to NTFS which took several hours. Uses a hitachi disk.

Not a bad price, how are Hitachi disks regarded nowadays for reliability?

I have currently got 3 WD drives (plus 2 in the past), 2 Samsungs and a Seagate which have been fine, only failures are a couple of Maxtors!

Dunno, couldn't find much on them, bad or good. Seems there's no great consensus on HDDs so i wasn't too fussed. I'll certainly post if i get any troubles.

I think the newbie10 code is out of date now, but i believe FREEDEL10 gives 10% and free delivery.
