Hot Toys 1/6th Avengers - Hawkeye

So the next of the lower tier characters has been announced.

Colour me interested...he's been a suck it & see character so far but if the sculpt is good then I may well bite & add him to my mish mash avengers.

I'm expecting we'll have Black Widow announced next then that's all the bit part players sorted & we'll just be left with the big hitters & I'll probably explode when they announce Hulk

Very interested to see how this one turns out, after the less than spectacular SLJ sculpt for Nick Fury though I'm preparing myself for a Quasimodo looking Hawkeye with only a slight resemblance to Jeremy Renner

Also holding off for the Hulk, minor characters don't interest me.

Like Fury an easy pass for me, the headsculpt is a marked improvement over the SLJ one but I'm not a fan of all the joints on show

either do I but heres a public link to the pics if its of any use to you - The Avengers: Hawkeye Limited Edition Collectible Figurine | Facebook

was undecided with the avengers line as it was going to be all 7 or none of them for me (well maybe still the hulk, price depending) but them joints may have just saved me a fair bit of cash this year as thats a big no-no for me

LOL he's grown on me as the day has gone on, not saying I've caved and will be ordering as by the time his release in September comes I'm sure we'll have seen at least another 2 characters from the line which may well surpass him but Hawkeye is definitely looking more appealing now than he was this morning

Looks awesome!!

Will probably be a pass for me but that's mostly because of my financial status at the moment.

Still will see nearer the time.

I'm a tad disappointed with the face sculpt. Can't say it looks much like the actor.Would have got him if the likeness was better

I just get the feeling they're rushing them out. This and SLJ both aren't great.

I actually think the head sculpt is very good, so good in fact that I almost don't care about the joints on show now and I'll almost certainly put an order in lol

He's the same price as Nick Fury on SS so I would hope he'll be the same price over here so £150-£160

I really don't mind visable joints on my figures, even though Hot Toys are impressing me everytime with how good they blend them in, I like the fact they are just really cool looking action figures, I prefer the solid body joints to the rubber skins

I'll be picking this up, think i'll dig out my bow kit this weekend and test out a few poses in the garden

Don't forget you have £13 P&P on top of that. Lucky for me though I got a £10 discount for OSB at Christmas. Having said all that so far I've been unimpressed with OSB so will probably try to pick this up elsewhere

Can't say this floats my boat. Looks more like Robin Hood in leathers than a superhero!

Sorry

My wife and I have to go through alot of emails, if we have not replied then sorry.

Most times we reply pretty much straight away..., normally through our iPads or iPhones as it's usually simple answers BUT sometimes like this week, we are have been swamped with emails to OSB.
