I think the picture just made me change my mind about my 1989 Batmobile pre-order. Even if somehow I manage to scrape enough together to pay for it I've just not the space at all to display it nor to keep it in its box which I imagine will be massive!

Will sleep on it but I may just consider putting what deposit I'd paid towards another figure I'm trying to pay up now.

If in the future I somehow manage to afford a 3 bed flat and there's a second release, I'll snap one up.

For the same price I could have DKR Batman and the Bat Pod!

I those are the old models but that's a damn cool picture!

Get both, it's almost a year until the Batmobile comes out.

Just been reading the thread over there. All bitching about it not being beefy enough (it is, Hardy ain't that big) and not coming with a photo of dent (***, print one off yourselves!! Hardly the end of the world). Hopefully the lack of accessories will keep the price down a bit.

This is quite an interesting comparison. I think after the quality of the joker and batman dx's people had heightened expectations. To be honest i am a little underwhelmed at this, also cant see them doing a dx version but hopefully they release pics again with some tweaks. I guess a vested figure is always going to be a no win situation until they invent some new posable magic plastic.

Will you get Batman and Robin if when Hot Toys makes them? I dunno myself, would look a bit odd next to the recent Dark Knight stuff.

The Dark Knight & 60's Robin - YouTube

Well my 1989 Batmobile is going to be displayed on my bed, I'll be sleeping in the street, Lol, so I have no room left for the 1966 version or The Bat.

Cant see me wanting anything from the abomination that is Batman & Robin.

Could be persuaded to get on board with Batman Forever if Hot Toys grab that license though, it wasn't a great film but I really like the look of that custom Jim Carrey Riddler that's about and I think a TLJ Two Face could be pretty cool as well (I didn't mind Kilmer's Batman suit either, nipples and all )

It was Clooney's suit that had the nipples

I stand corrected- I had no idea Kilmer's did as well! Ain't seen in in years.

Best thing about that film is the U2 song ;-)

My apologies!

Think Bane will be an easy pass for me, just Bats and Joker will be enough for me.

The teaser for Catwoman is up too:

Just got back from seeing the film, in it Bane wears his armoured vest over his jumper, with no coat in parts and looks fantastic.

PS the film is AWESOME.

Finally decided to get my order in for TDKR DX Batman. My bank account will hate me but it looks fantastic £200 from ModelZone with free delivery. Not too far off £190 ive seen on many sites and I couldnt find anywhere else with pre orders still available.

Seeing the film on Tuesday and I CAN NOT WAIT!
