Just ordered The Bat-Pod from O.S.B, it's a good price and the service has been very good in the past.

I never was a fan of the Tumbler, but I think the Bat-Pod looks cool, not sure if the DX02 Batman will fit on it though, does anyone know?

I was going to get the Joker 2.0, but there are just far too many figures in the range to play catch-up now.

I've never been able to get my DX02 fit correctly on the Bat-Pod, I think most people recommend the MMS71 for poseability.

not ideal if you didn't want to upgrade but they've listed an adapter in the specs for the new dx batman to attach it to the batpod

Question

So I'm getting into Hot Toys. I've picked up the Classic Predator, and have a few of the Avengers on pre-order along with Joker 2.0...but I'm having a hard time with the new Batman.

I'd like him to "complete" Joker, but a combination of his mask and his fat looking upper legs keep putting me off. The attached shot especially...is it just me staring too long?

<sigh> Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to cave on this one

Although the HT CS stuff going on at the moment brings a sour taste to the proceedings (I've started another thread about it).

Pricey business visiting these forums! I used to just pop in now and then when researching or upgrading my AV gear, but with these figures I find myself checking in quite often.

Anyhow; Boom, pre-ordered

Oh tell me about it.
Since my baby was born in June there is zero room for anything...in fact I now have everything packed away in a storage unit ready for when we move...which may or may not be this year (we live in a 1 bed flat so no loft for storage)
Nothing is on display anymore at all & yet I'm still ordering stuff which will join the rest of it in storage for the foreseeable future

I'm the same now...I used to come in about AV stuff but now I don't actually venture out of this section.

My daily routine is now...

Movie Memorabilia
Collectible Figures
Sales forums (Blu-Rays & Collectibles)
Exit

That's it in a nutshell the rest of the forums just don't interest me anymore.
I struggle to keep up with movie news as the threads move so fast so don't even look these days.

Much more entertaining in here & we have our own little Clique now so you get to know people better & make much better friends this way

Ditto!

Though I do pop in to SSF for a browse now and then (though it's a bit of an overload, I tend to just stick my head into the DC/Marvel areas to see if there's anything new).

There's some cool "work in progress" pics posted from time to time, but frankly, there's so many posts, it can be a bit of a chore to find them on their sometimes epic threads.

Does anyone have any particular sites they'd recommend for figure news? (doesn't have to be just HT, I've been collecting the odd anime/game figures before I got sucked in here ;-)

FWIW, here's one of the ones I check out:

Oh, and congrats btw!

Moving back to the UK in September (after spending a few years in Norway), so I expect everything non-essential will left in boxes and storage for a good while till we get settled in again.

Lol I'm the same at SSF as well...I'm just about getting my foot in the door & people reply to posts etc. but by god they are a clicky bunch.
I give up with threads most of the time...they just go mental.
I looked at the Batman PF threads this morning & since 11 O'clock last night there had been 21 new pages
No way I could keep up now.

I only really use here or SSF for info these days.
That said I'm pretty sure with the knowledge we all have on here we could probably put something together ourselves

Although I would recommend Statueforum.com
It's a pretty good site but as popular as SSF so can be hard to keep up.

I'm hoping to display my DX02 Batman on the Bat-Pod and then just buy an EMP Gun to finish the display of similar to the picture below.

that should work if hes sitting up like that, if there was any bother with the DX02 fitting on the pod I would have thought it would be with the riding position

ps talking of sheep and being led astray.... where do I send the bill for a few 1:18 scale cars..... first one was an easy choice for me, The General Lee, then I got carried away, Batmobiles included

My brother lives in Bergen, so if you want to get rid of some stuff, I'm sure he'll buy some figs!

The size of The Bat is ridiculous can't imagine how big the box will be for it (or the price)
