"Who’s here to prove that we can"?

I'm pleased with how the star spangled man looks, going to need a whole section for the Capt. figs soon at this rate!

So far so good, suit looks to have a more metallic look to it unlike the rubbish paint job on the last Thor, cape still looks to thin though needs to be thicker and a velvet type of material. End of the day though I can forgive another poor paint job and an inaccurate cape for just a nailed on headsculpt this time around

Oh hell yes!!!!!

This is the first Avenger that is a MUST buy.
I am all over this as soon as I can get an order in.

I never picked up the original because I prefer the modern day costume so this is looking awesome

I'm interested in what the headsculpt looks like.
My V1 reminds of James Hetfield from certain angles.

If the CA has better mobility (as in he can lift his arm above 90 degrees) I'll be moving mine on & getting the new one.

I actually really like the current CA, but it's annoying as hell that he cant lift that shield!

I have now decided that I am gonna finally get myself on the 1/6 wagon by buying Thor. The movie made it definite for me.

I'm avoiding this Cap
I already have the First Avenger figure & this new suit just does nothing for me & to be honest looking at the teaser pictures for him I don't like the way the suit moves on the figure looks very badly fitted & folds wrong in places IMO

I will however be buying the BD shield to go with my First Avenger Cap & possibly buy the Chris Evans headsculpt once in hand pics start to appear & if they get the likeness as good as the prototype shots.

So far for me with this line;

Nick Fury - easy pass
Hawkeye - definite maybe
Captain America - definite purchase

I am interested in Thor, Black Widow and Hulk but it will all depend on what they look like, I may well just get the new Thor headsculpt unless the figure has a whole blows me away

I'm getting this and if I don't like it in hand, then ill flip it and keep my First Avenger Cap instead, going to sell War Machine and get a new Iron Man, and will also be picking up Thor. Will wait and see what they manage for Hulk before deciding, and will be passing on the rest.

The Thor figure will hopefully look awesome. Based on the teaser pics it is looking promising but I'm gonna get him either way. I like the First Avenger figure a hell of a lot more but the Avengers cap is more current.

Well after doing a little more research and stuff I am definitely tempted to buy the Avengers Cap, the costume looks a lot better on the figure than the First Avenger one IMHO. If i get him though it'll be through Collectibles Direct so I can do it on the Flexpay and with him not due there until Feb next year I could actually get away with it quite happily paying a bit off every week.

Hmmmmmmmm Decisions, decisions

I've also just got back from seeing the film (truly epic stuff) and yep Hawkeye has now moved from maybe to definite. Still dont think my collection needs Fury and seeing as I only like 3 figures per shelf in my detolf's I'm thinking it makes perfect sense to do

Captain America + Hawkeye + Black Widow
Mark VII + Hulk + Thor

People who have seen the film will hopefully understand my thinking on that

I'm the opposite, Hawkeye went from maybe to definitely not. Thought he was a pish character, with nothing remotely cool or bad-assed about him.

Captain America, though. After being content with the First Avenger figure, I'm so having the Avengers version. Cap was one of the best things about the film, IMO and done properly. I pre-ordered him as soon as I left the cinema.

Don't need a Mark VII, another Thor or Black Widow and certainly not a Nick Fury.
With regards to the Hulk, we'll see. Price and materials will be the deciding factor.

Actually, out of everything, I still really want a Loki figure. Make it so!
