With a good camera is it a case of just clicking or do you have to mess about with the settings and things, I understand the likes of macro mode and the flash but thats about it..... part of the reason I don't take as many pics as I should or would like to is when I take loads I'm lucky if a few are any good and then that gets me irritated.... probably doesn't help that my camera's ancient and has to be plugged in to the mains to take any more than two or three pics at a time |
Thanks Gam.
I am very into photography, It's my dream/hope/life plan that ill be supporting my family from it one day.
I mainly shoot weddings and portraits (family, baby, couples etc).
Depends what you mean by good camera, a lot of good camera's do have modes to just click away with. Even the lower/mid level DSLR's.
My ones are more of a pro level so there are no auto modes and there is always something to adjust before taking the photo. But then if your using a camera like that its because you want to be able to control how the photo turns out rather than letting the camera do the guess work.
I use different methods for different shots but the last one the camera was in full manual mode. So I set the shutter speed, apature (how much light the lens allows onto the camera sensor) and ISO (this is a hang up from film days, its the number relating to the film speed, with digital the higher the number the less light you need but it introduces grain the higher you go). Also I set the exposure compensation (makes the photo intentionally lighter or darker) quite high as I was shooting into the light and without the adjustment the figure would have been very dark. I could have fixed it after in Photoshop but its always best to do it in camera if you can.
My apature was quite high, so the trees in the background were nice and blurred. A high apature also creates a shallower depth of field.
I that has not

I think you need a new camera.
