It's quite a strange phenomena really, growing up Gambit just didn't appear on my radar, he wasn't in the cartoon shows episodes I watched, when the movies arrived he wasn't featured in those, I know of him but frankly all I know about the guy is he throws cards around and seems to come and go like a lone wolf, I think he's avoiding me

seems to be a popular character, not enough to me to earn a place on my shelf though
Wow they look great together.
From a distance you really can't tell there's anything wrong with Rogue she almost looks perfect

I'd like to get a few more PF's but I can't justify them...I'm already having pre-order remorse for the Joker PF but I know when he's here that will all pass.

Yeah my brother loves Gambit...I'm more of a Cyclops, Nightcrawler fane personally.

Hate Wolverine really feel he's overrated.

I've looked at Collectables Direct, FP, The Good the Bad and the Robots all the usual Hot Toys dealers but none of them have Gambit. Any others that solely deal with Statues that I should know about?
Not that I can think of...you've named the best there.

I got the ex Gambit PF on release day. His exclusive kinectic energy hand came with the slightest paint defect (completely unnoticeable infact) but I thought Id fire off an email to Sideshow to get on the WL for an exclusive hand replacement. One finally came 5 months later or so. I didn't need it, but someone on the forums offered me $400 for the exclusive hand alone! How could I say no
Ah I guess that's why he's so expensive then, I always thought a second head was the exclusive part not the hand (which you obviously need for this statue to be truly awesome)

I cant see me having near £1000 to spend on one in the foreseeable future so I guess that's me out, these X-Men PF's will have to be something I admire from afar

Wow, are they really selling for that sort of cash? Glad I picked mine up when it came out, maybe I should've ordered the Joker PF after all.

From what I can tell they seem to be going for $800 on eBay but none of the sellers ship to the UK, I guess that could be got around if you contacted the buyer directly but then you've got shipping on top (god knows how much that would be)

If you ever think of selling yours let me know

As for Joker given his exclusive is a dodgy looking head I dont think you've missed out

"Curse of Beauty"

Medusa Statue by ARH Studios -

She's the biggest piece in my collection, just overtaking Optimus at 26 inches high.

so the brown elephant looking thing to the left was in that box or was it the really exclusive Sue Storm

at least you'll have something to sleep in there when your collection takes over the rest of your house

If you haven't turned to stone yet, it's time for the R-rated stuff

She has removable armour plates, i've used my amazing skills in MS paint to prevent photobucket from banning the pics, so just use your imagination

if your quick you can see the an uncensored pic here before it's removed no doubt

NSFW http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...k/Medusa14.jpg

The box made me panic for a bit, but it was all just wrapping , I can still fit into my room.

It's all Medusa! They really were ambitious with making sure she was protected, there's a trail of polystyrene up the stairs still.

it's quite roomy in the box, perhaps i'll rent it out

You crack me up Viperj2k, I have to think twice about even getting minimate figures due to lack of room.

You must live in a Tardis.

Finally got my Classic Pred today, he really is a sight to behold (sorry for the crappy iPhone pic but my shots are rubbish anyway so thought what the hell)

I've since futzed Arnie a little bit putting his black T-Shirt on because he was looking a little crap next to Pred

And another shot of my relatively new 1989 Batman which I've recently reposed

Thanks Quint!

A few more peices added to the shelves thanks to Lee at CollectiblesDirect, who helped replace a dodgy figure too, fantastic service!

Apologies if the pics are quite bright, very sunny today.

G.I Joe: Cobra Desert ops Officer -

Star Wars: Commander Gree -

Bishoujo: Mystique & Poison Ivy -

I've only ever had the courier company contact me, if it doesn't tell you 100% that it's connected with your Superman I wouldn't pay. Not until contacting Sideshow first who's CS is fantastic in my experience

if you didn't pay it at the time its probably legit as with a quick google they seem like an actual collection agancy for that sort of thing.... furthest I've ever got was when I forgot to post a cheque that I'd left in my glove box, got a second letter from fedex about a month after the first demanding immeditate payment or the details would be passed to a collection agency
