This summer, Marvel Studios will be launching a highly anticipated superhero blockbuster Captain America: The First Avenger movie!

Fans may have already known that we have participated in the projects of Iron Man and Thor already. So here comes the collectible of the next superhero Captain America, who is also one of the Avengers!

Fans, please be ready to catch the shield from the star-spangled Avenger before movie launches!

Gonna be a must have and I don't care if it doesn't look like Chris Evans.

I just want a kick ass Cap figure.

Me too & no way I can afford the Sideshow PF so this is a definite must.

I wish I'd got the Avengers Reborn Cap Statue when he was released but I'm not paying the price now when this is on the cards in the next few months.

Not sure if I should get this version as I have a feeling there will be a modern Captain America when the Avengers movie hits and I don't want two of them.

From what I've seen concept wise of The Avengers, I'm quite happy with the WWII suit.

I like the Avengers version better, jumped the gun when I bought the battle damaged Iron Man 3 figure as well should of waited for the later ones.

Well to be fair from the concept poster to my eyes there really doesn't appear the be that much difference between the two suits so I'll be going with the WW2 one.

That said the Avengers movie is still over a year away & on that basis the Avengers figures are easily 18-24 months away so plenty of time to save & replace them if they do turn out to be vastly different from the current line ups.

would be nice to have thor, iron man and cap from koto and hot toys (and hopefully/probably movie premium formats ) in my collection but might be waiting on the inevitable avengers version as I'm on the fence with this one all depending on the WWII look but look forward to seeing some better pictures of how it looks later on this week

:D just this figure official specs this morning amazing.

Think there will be enough custom changes in the Avengers movie to get them all then. To much of a cow for both Marvel and HT not to do it. Hopefully Blackwidow will have sculpted hair!!

That looks really nice, but still on the fence as I don't want to have to sell it when an Avengers versions hits, here is a nice HQ shot of Cap from the movie for comparison.

Thanks for the Heads up.

I'm waiting till One Sixth Bruce put him up for sale.
I may pay a little more but I wont get Customs charges & I've been really pleased with the past service so more than happy to give them my money again.

Providing he can hold the shield like that, that right there is the pose I'm using. Epic.

Wow the close up head shots look amazing.
Do wish there was an alternate sculpt though without the mask.

Oh I hope not too many...I can't afford a million different versions like Iron Man again.

I'm hoping just for a Red Skull figure as well then I'll be a proper happy camper

A bucky one would be nice as well if he features properly in the film but not essential like the Red Skull will be

Might reconsider then but I'll wait to see what OSB do price wise & the benefit of Layaway with them is always a bonus

I paid my deposit as soon as it went up, this has overtaken Superman on my 'must have' list.

Thanks for the heads up, but for this one I went with a regular eBay supplier as I don't like to have all my orders with one supplier. Got mine for £138 delivered (fastest shipping method EMS), plus low Customs Value like all previous orders

Currently waiting on:-

* Thor (supplier on holiday till 1st July )
* Spider-Man 3
* Christopher Reeve Superman
* Captain America: First Avenger

Mine are spread about a bit.

Thor- ebay
Odin- ebay (shipped)
Superman- Sideshow
Captain America- OSB
Tracker Predator- ebay

There was an ebay seller, was based in Thailand. I got my HT Royce
from him, the service was phenomenal, but unfortunately, he lists very few Hot Toys figures.

I use Golden Warrior Toy Shop for most of my stuff.
