I finally watched Captain America last night and in hindsight I'm surprised Hot Toys didn't release the Cap figure all battle damaged, after all the clean shield isn't actually seen in the film at all nor the helmet IIRC

They do after all make all their Iron Man figures with chipped paint to show a worn look

After watching the film now though I'm tempted by the USO version of the figure

Mate, so sorry... we worked from 7am through till 4.30pm trying to get all parcels packed and ready for collection.

We knew we would disappoint a few customers by sending on Friday, but with a staff of 3 people this week and packing around 60 Capts America parcels in the way we do it was a tall order.

All we can say is sorry

Waiman, just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with using your site for the first time for my Cap purchase. Best packaging I have had on any purchase of type, and great communication in response to my emails.

Cheers!

I think Lee @ The Good The Bad & The robots still has one in his sales thread on Sideshow Freaks...

Sideshow Freaks

You might have to be registered to see the Sales Forum though

Can't recommend him enough, he's supplied my '89 Batman & Joker & my Jack Sparrow
Been smooth sailing each time

HTH

Neil

Went for Forbidden Planet in the end, £139.99 + a few quid P&P.

This is the HT I have bought. Hope the wife likes it

I like this one too. The Avengers one did nothing for me, but this looks pretty cool.

But really feel I need a Joker and Iron Man before buying this.

Got my PO in for the Rescue Version 10 minutes after it went up, SSC says it should ship in 2-3 weeks but I'll be happy if it arrives as early as the next month or so tbh

How much do they charge for postage to the UK? And are they customs friendly?

Shame they don't have a pay taxes upfront option, cos it can add another £30 to the order with the fedex charge.

Aye, I just paid £35 to Fedex for Babydoll.

Except here's the odd thing, I don't actually mind paying the Fedex fees, because:
(a) I know upfront that I'm going to be charged.
(b) They deliver it quite fast and speed it through customs, so that...
(c)...I'm not dealing with those numpties at Parcelforce.

sideshow charge $25 to $40 ontop of the statue for shipping which is very good value especially when it takes less than a week to arrive....... then fedex send a bill that arrives around 10 days after delivery for 20% for vat on full cost including postage plus a £10.50 handling fee...... so around £50 to £60 for a PF
