Apologies for the terrible photos, I had such a hard time photographing this guy. Also, as much as I'd probably hate to admit it, I do see Evans in the sculpt from certain angles. It's in the eyes.
Some things to be mindful of:
1. The head/neck on mine wasn't firmly on, leading to some comedy giraffe neck. Push that thing down. Hard. Don't be shy.
2. Really stiff joints, as well as the knee joints not being lined up correctly with the boots. I went to bend his knee and found it turned halfway around his leg. The arms in particular, are very stiff.
3. The shield has a little clasp that can popped open with tweezers and makes putting it on that much easier. I believe there are some instructions on how to put the shield on properly, but being a man, I said 'fook that' and did it my way.
4. If you're putting the revolver in the holster, angle the little pin up the way, it makes attaching it to the flap again, that much easier.
5. Don't be afraid to pull the boots off and tuck those trouser legs down. If the lower leg comes off with the boot, DON'T PANIC! It just pops back on again.
6. The shield is a fingerprint magnet.
Hate the machine gun, the hands won't hold it convincingly enough, plus Captain America doesn't need no stinking shooter, so in the box it remains.
