Forbidden Planet is now £199.99, up £40 from two days ago.

Says was £269.99, now £199.99. Surely that's a mistake?

Which we can still order from? I'm still unsure of whether to keep my side-show order, anyone got a rough idea if it'll work out more than £160 or thereabouts?

I know guys who work for FPI and they will be that price when they arrive in UK.What you have to factor in is that they will take a while to get to shops in the UK, whereas i think you would get your order through quicker through sideshow, and thats one of the main reasons i am keeping mine with SS.....normally i would wait a few months, but not for this!I think it will be nearer £180, but worth it to be guaranteed one!

Look either eBay for £152 delivered, O.S.B. £156 delivered or if you want the meteor rock piece from Sideshow which looks a little camp to say the least then from SS website, the choice is yours. I would make your mind up quick as these will most likely start to increase in price with time.

Depends if you think paying an extra £30 for a Mr. T. accessory is worth it to you , personally I don't like it and will stick with my O.S.B. order.

I thought the Kryptonite would look out of place at the Fortress of Solitude so went with the regular too.

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking that the EX kryptonite is a bit naff..sticking with my vanilla version from OSB. ;-)

Would of been better if the Ex was Green Crystal that Superman uses to build his fortess with, especially if it glowed in the dark as well.

Hey folks- I've got a bit of cash spare and I've decided to probably go with ordering from One Sixth Bruce, even though I have a sideshow pre order, which I'll cancel depending on feedback from you kind folk.

1. How reliable are OSB? I see they have them still for order, so if I use them I'll get the item?
2. I'm probably going to pay in full- will they take the money right away or when the item is due to ship?
3. Is the £159.99 the price I'll pay? No shipping costs or taxes?

Apologies as some of this may have been answered already, just I'm in work at the moment and don't have time to check back....

Just looking for some reassurance on OSB, as I really want this figure.

Many thanks!

1. I have found them 100% reliable. I think Waiman knows how many he is getting and disables ordering on his page once he knows they are all taken.

2. If you pay in full the money is taken right away, just as the 'layaway' money is taken right away. But look at it this way, you only pay for it once.

3. I believe shipping to the UK mainland is £13 and £18 to Ireland. Currently the price is showing as £156.99 for the figure. So if you live in the UK the total price should be £169.99. No taxes or additional costs apply if you are in the UK.

1 very, they've built up a very good well deserved reputation..... would be very, very surprised if you ordered and didn't get one

2 pay in full is to pay when orders placed, layaway is pay a deposit now and pay the rest when its ready to ship

3 shipping is extra and is added on when you go to the shopping cart. they're in the UK so vat is including and no chance of any extra surprising extra charges

hope that helps

ps check you sideshow order first as mine isn't allowing me to cancel online as its saying I would have to contact them to cancel for some reason

Thanks for the update.

I wonder if that new background comes with the figure.

Love the new head sculpt, looks even more like Reeve. Do we think that background will be the box for the figure? Needs to be large to accommodate the fortress base.
