Cat5 or 5e

As topic, going to make up the cables for the rears so what do I need? Cat 5 or 5e? Or is there no difference?

The 'e' stands for extended as in extender frequency range.

Having said that I doubt you would be able to find CAT5 cable as most will have moved over to 'e'.

Thats exactly what I am talking about!!

Managed to get some Cat5e lszh for the cost of a pint! Have plaited it up and got it under the floor, just gotta refit the carpet now.

Three plaits is quite a large cable!
