SkyHD over Cat

I want to run SkyHD to two bedrooms from my TV in the lounge.

I think I would be better over Cat to be futureProof (as much as you can with 1.4 cables now appearing). Running the HDMI over a short distance from the Cat.

What do I need to do this?

Its 15 metres to each room.

Many Thanks.

Hello bwfc0907

You will require a 1x2 HDMI Distribution Amp (Media Factory - Octava HDDA12-UK, 1x2 HDMI distribution amp.) plus 2 x HDMI over CATx Extenders (Media Factory - Octava HDMICAT-UK, HDMI over CAT5 extender) or Extenders with IR Passthru (Media Factory - Octava HDOCAT, HDMI + Optical 5.1 over CAT5 Extender inc. IR Passthru).

HDMI cables are either CAT1 or CAT2 and now with the option of the Ethernet channel or not - 1.2, 1.3 1.4 is not a cable Spec.

HDMI
