Cat 6 face plates

Hi,

Is there any advantage to running two cat 6 cables to two single face plates instead of one cat 6 cable to a double face plate.

Why would you want to run a single cable to a double faceplate?

Why can't you run 2 x Cat6 cables to one single box with a 2gang faceplate?

Hi

If you need two connections then you would still need two runs of cable. The double faceplate doesnt act like a splitter of the signal. At the back are two completely seperate connections.
