Had my Nuvi a couple of weeks now and the window mount has detached four or five times. Most disconcerting to have it trundling across the dashboard with me chasing it at the same time as driving! I've read a few threads re a 'new' style mount which is better than the 'old'. but I don't know which I have. Anybody got a description or better still a piccie? and where did you get the new one from?

I never had a problem with my Nuvi mount dropping off, until I had to have my screen replaced. With the new screen the mount wouldn't stay on for more than 30 mins.

The solution for me was to 'lick it and stick it'. It's been firmly attached for over 3 months now.
