Tomtom One Europe V3 Map downloading

Hi guys,

I'm considering buying a Tomtom One Europe V3 as I have a few European journeys to do in the coming year. However, I also have an American trip next year. Is it possible to download American maps to that machine or on an SD card?

Any help would be really appreciated.

I dont think the V3 has an SD slot, just internal memory. 1 gig i think, which should be plenty.

512mb on my v3, no sd card slot though as stated

Hi,

the v3 is not suitable for American maps which need 1gb memory. these only carry 512mb non accessable (no sd card slot or card) memory. I would buy a v2 as they can be upgraded/manipulated easily.
