Can anyone hel me out with a cheap solution for a SAT NAV for the USA

I have a Tmobile Vario II phone can I just buy maps and a receiver for it ? if so do you have any suggestions

I have also seen some budget sat nav units eg Myguide 3100 ,can you buy USA maps for this ?

I have just ordered a Garmin 270 from Amazon which includes all N.America/Europe and around £70 cheaper than anyone else....hope this helps.

Perhaps not the really cheap option you are looking for, but I can recommend a Tomtom one with USA maps added.

I am driving around the USA at this moment! I updated my TT1 V2 with the USA maps, and it is performing perfecting. Definitely a good investment.

I like the TT1 because it is so small, you can just slip it in your back pocket.
