I been looking for a new headunit to replace my current stock unit in my 2001 Ford Focus. I like the sound of a DAB model and have looked at the following

Kenwood

Sony

Halfords | Sony CDX-DAB700U DAB/DAB+/DMB-R Car CD Receiver

Im trying to work out the difference between the different models. It appears the Kenwood and the Sony support DAB + and the Sony supports DMB-R (not sure what that is).

Does anyone have experience with these headunits? Do you know if when it says supports IPHONE via connected cable can it all support phone functions via this route or is this only possible when using the optional bluetooth modules?
