odd antenna jack - help!

Hi, I'm trying to install a new head unit (Pioneer) into a 2001 Subaru Outback (Australian stock if that makes a difference) , but I'm experiencing some difficulties with the antenna plug.

Frustratingly, I had just spent an hour dismantling the fascia before realising the antenna jack was wrong.

It looks like I need some form of adaptor, but am having trouble identifying and sourcing whichever one would be appropriate.

I assume the new HU is a DIN connector (cylindrical, single pin).

The existing OEM antenna jack is cylindrical, quiet wide (~50% wider than the DIN antenna socket) and with 2 parallel pins
(the HU I removed was a Clarion, if that is relevant).

Many thanks,

Ali

thanks for the links.
unfortunately they don't appear compatible - seems as though Subaru had a specific jack in those days, but all is not lost - may in fact be an extension to a 'normal' plug - juts need to dismantle the dash a bit more to check...

cheers

Its a diversity aerial system, which was used by Clarion on a few models and quite common on earlier Nissans. It you trace it back you will find a normal size and a smaller aerial plug, use the normal one.
