I have a 740 GO permanently connected to an ign switched ciggy lighter buried under the gear console. The headunit is mounted where the ashtray was but with the cover still in place so's it can be hid when I'm not in the car.
The thing can be programmed to switch off with the ignition, but not on...ie, it has to be manually started on the top button; which is a nuisance to say the least. According to TomTom (Classic Car show at the NEC last weekend) I should go to 'power settings' and select 'hard wire': but cannot find this option. Any ideas or other options please?
