Question Sendai headunits

The Mrs wants a new headunit for Christmas, nothing too flashy and £100 max. iPod input is a must but she's not too bothered otherwise.

I've found a couple of nice Sony units (I've got one myself and it sounds great) but I spotted this Sendai one on the Halfords website:

Sendai CD988BT

Bluetooth music streaming & audio
aux, USB & SD card input

Seems to have some good features, not heard of the brand before though, does anyone have any info on them?

Not full iPod compatibility

It has aux in but no full iPod control like one of the Sony units.

So with an AUX input you'd have to control the music with iPod itself, but full Ipod connectivity allows the headunit to control the music?

Yes, and full iPod connectivity means that you get the track name, artist etc. scrolling on headunit display.

One of the Halfords Sony models has iPod compatibility - about £119 I think.
