Re: Car Audio help

try amping your main speakers mate, if you have good quality speakers then they will give you plenty of punch, the sub will help them

make sure your main speakers are mounted on a good baffle(like your parcel shelf but increased in thickness using MDF about 3/4" thick) this should help

but this is home cinema subs so if you have any further queries try a car audio forum

hope it helps

Re: Car Audio help

The main problem is that my car, '98 Vauxall Tigra, does not have a parcel shelf only a fabric boot cover so cannot run 6 x 9's, and I cannot find anyone who makes them so I am running 4 x 200w pioneers in the doors.

If there are any Tigra owners out there who have a solution for this problem I would be reeeeaaaallly grateful if you could let me know.

Re: Car Audio help

Another question.... are there smaller round altenatives to 6x9's that have the same sort of range?
