Just purchased a Go 750 Live and it comes with 1 months free live service - any ideas how you activate the free month?

I'm loving it.

The HD traffic is spot on and have found it is 90% accurate ( for me anyway). I generally travel on the major roads and if there is an incident it is correct within 500m or so.

The screen is sometimes a little slow to respond to touch but other than that no issues.

Even the windscreen mount stays on.

I was gonna get the deal on amazon with the 1 years 12-MONTHS LIVE SERVICES. TOMTOM GO 750 LIVE WITH FREE 12-MONTHS LIVE SERVICES WORTH £95.99. VALID 18th FEBRUARY to 06th APRIL 2010: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

1.is that worth having the live? ?

2.what else did u update. did you have to go online to update stuff, like maps, software, firmware. would i need to buy one of those usb leads with it for downloads

3. people say the inbuilt memory isn't to large. so worth getting a separate one?

4. and did the updates fix the slow responce on the touch screen
anything else you would recomend to get with it ?

Cheers

It is for the HD traffic and the location search via google is very good - I pay £7 per month via dd.

The traffic I have found to be so accurate that I'm beginning to trust the reroutes.

Traffic and live service update over the inbuilt sim.

You need to hook it up to your pc or mac to update the software etc
All leads come in the box

No issue with memory for me - has all of europe to start with.

No, this is the only thing that gets me some times- it might be my fat saveloys but never the less i find it to lag every so often

You do not need anything else, although if it for the misses then you can get a matching bag for it

oh and I paid £229 for mine plus the monthly subs so this is a bargain

I've got a 950 and also find the screen slow to respond, which is annoying. It also won't link up to my blackberry 9700 either, which is also annoying!

Other than that i love it and i called Tomtom direct and got it for £240 eith the extra 12 months Live service for free.
