Guys please help... my stereo is driving me mad!!

The problem is that the stereo automatically switches 'source' ie, from cd to radio then to aux etc. it does it once every minute or so but can happen at anytime.

It only does it when the stereo is in its cradle in the dash when driving... if i pull it out and rest on on the chair it works perfect or if i keep it in the dash and dont drive anywhere, (even if i rev the car as u would when driving) there is no interuptions... so...

i thought it might be heat behind the dash causing the problem but it still does it first thing in the morning when its freezing and if i pull it out and rest it on the chair and cover the fan on the back of the unit (not allowing it to cool down) it still works fine.

next i thought it could be bumps causing the problem but when its on the passenger chair driving and i smack it (which gives me so much relief lol) it never switches source!

then i thought it might be some kind of interuption from behind the dash but as i said it doesnt do it if i rev the car when stood still (simulating what u would do when driving).
next i thought it could be the remote control switching sources but when i flip the facia down (so the remote can't work) it still does it!

ive also checked all wires, fuses etc.

flicked through all the settings

reset the unit so many times.

and to some up the stereo doesnt work when in its cradle but works fine when chilling on the passenger seat.

ive been trying for months trying to fix this.

if anyone can help i will send £20 through paypal straight away. lol
