Ok so my car setup is simple.

JVC head unit with front and back speakers coming from it (no amp).
Fusion Sub (built in amp).

Been working fine for the last year or so.

The other day when driving with it on medium volume the speakers suddenly stopped leaving the sub going.

Fast forward a few days I take a look at it and the speakers now worked but the sub has no power....

Checked the wires are all plugged in and havnt come loose on the back of the head unit - the earth hasnt changed and is still tightly bolted. Just no power at all..

Any ideas? could the 2 things be related somehow?

Is there a fuse from the battery? You need to get hold of a simple 12v tester and see if there is power live at the '12v +' and the 'remote' on the sub.
