please can anybody help,i have a tt1 series30,every thing works except the safety camera alerts,it used to work until i connected to computer to update, if i go into menu >tt safety cameras i get message (you can join this service and download safety camera locations to your device using tt home) according to tt home the safety cameras are installed on my device!!!

Did you ever get a fix for this. I too have a Tomtom XL 30 but can't seem to enable the camera alerts. I keep getting the same message as you.

after speaking to 3 people at tom-tom the 3rd lady got me uninstalling files via pc then reinstalling safety camera alerts .unfortunately i can,t remember exactly what i did as she talked me through it, all i can suggest you ring tom-tom and hope you get someone who knows what their doing,sorry for not being much help ,good luck

I just bought a tom tom classic XL and experienced this problem. Emailed tom tom support and they allowed me to download another safety camera update to overwrite the first one. This cured the problem straight away so it appears it is the result of a failed download where tomtom home thinks all is ok as it can see the files but your tomtom device cannot access them.
