Which sound system for my car?

Hey guys.

I own a Citroen C2 Furio, It's my first car.
Basically I wants to update my system in the car.

Stuff I want:

Stealth installation (apart from sub in back, can build a box myself)
I listen to some dubstep, RnB, Hip Hop, Dance/Club. So preferably a StreetBass setup.
Front doors can take 17cm's components. (6 1/2")
Price range I'm kinda hoping to spend is around the £500-550 on front components, sub/s, amp/s, headunit. The other stuff like wiring, sound deadening if needed can be extra costs.

As I said it hasn't got to be a enclosure sub/s as me and the old man can build a box.

All help will be great.

Jay.

Yea I will be installing it myself. 12" Sub for back will be fine.

Re: Which sound system for my car?

Can defo recommend the Alpine H/U! Ive got one in my car it I love it (and ive had a few latley)

I myself use the Fusion Gear so would recommend that.

Mu set-up is Alpine CD9880r H/U, Blankpukt Amp, Fusion NV 6.5comps and 2x12" Ecnounter sub. Sounds very nice with dubstep ! Cant read number plates properly and thats in a mondeo (i.e. subs miles away compared to a C2)

The subs are a total of MAX 550
and the NV comps are at about 85/90 RMS

Re: Which sound system for my car?

Ahh I see well I had my eyes on a 2month old 9886R on eBay. Probs will go for around 150-200 quid. So I'll keep my eye on this bad boy :P.

Comp wise. I seen some DLS K-Series Which are rated good. So might be getting these with a JBL GTO 72.5 To run them.

Only thing really I need help with is the Sub/Amp.
I had a look at the Vibe CBR12 Active for 200 on Halfords, But had some guy saying the sub won't keep up with the comps .

Any other suggestions of sub/amp for around the 200 mark, Again i don't mind building box in my boot.
