Need advice with wiring and cables

I've finally managed to afford all the kit that I need to fit my new car out with a nice stereo but am having trouble working out the cables and wiring.

I'm fitting a pair of Infinity kappa coax speakers in the rear quarters and Infinity kappa components in the front

Going to run them off of this amp infinity 475a

but I also want to run 12" vibe active subwoofer as well

what I need to know is what cables I need to wire both of these to the battery (is their a way of not having to use two cables onto the battery?) and also on the amp blurb it says

'Full range preamp outputs are provided facilitating multiple amplifier hookups without the need for costly Y-adapters or signal splitters.'

So does that mean I take a cable from the infinity amp to the sub amp that passes the audio signal? if so what cable do I need for that?

I know all this sounds very amateur and I should probably take to it to a professional to get it done but if I don't try then I'll never learn.

You can get a power distibution block for around £5 and you can you y splitters and a 1m rca or just 1m rca out of out put on the amp to the other amp

Re: Need advice with wiring and cables

What stereo are you using?
if the stereo has got seperate rca for front, rear and sub channels i would run seperate rca rather than splitting the signal. if the stereo does not have seperate rca then just use a short rca to link the two amps as sugested above.
regarding power cable make sure it is the correct gauge to handle the power draw from both amps. 4 Gauge would probabely be good enough.
